Ingredients 
    
    - 600g Jerusalem artichokes (scrubbed, not peeled & cut lengthways)
 - 2 tbls. Schmaltz
 - 1 tbls. Miso paste
 - Sea salt to taste
 - Few sprigs thyme
 
Introduction
A tasty Christmas side dish. A great alternative to traditional roast potatoes and a perfect pairing with Christmas turkey.Method
                    - Preheat oven to 180°c fan assisted or 200°c without a fan (gas 6).
 - Mix the schmaltz and miso into a paste.
 - Toss the artichokes in the paste mixture and sprinkle with a little sea salt and thyme, then place onto a preheated roasting tray and roast for 40 minutes until nut brown and tender, turning after 20 minutes.

- Perfect with roast Christmas turkey and a great alternative to the more traditional roasties.
